Development Concept Report
To assist the Dunedin City Council (DCC) in deciding whether to continue funding the Stadium project, based on the resolution that was passed in June 2007, Carisbrook Stadium Trust made a detailed and in-depth presentation to both the City and Regional Councils, which provided an analysis of all the work undertaken by the Trust and their consultantants. Based on that report, DCC passed a number of recommendations which recognised the significant amount of progress made by the Trust and, before DCC can contribute the full amount of funding, uncertainty with regard to land acquisition and plan change needs to be resolved. Therefore, the Trust in conjunction with DCC and all its other Stakeholders, will continue with the Stadium project, and will report back to DCC on the 17th March 2008. |
