Background
The Carisbrook Stadium Trust was formed in August 2006. It was originally given a mandate to investigate options of re-developing the existing Carisbrook Stadium and the feasibility of a new stadium. Following approval from Dunedin City Council in February 2007, to progress the preferred multi-purpose option in association with the University of Otago, the Trust has been working through a number of key issues and have now completed the concept design stage. The next step in this journey for the Trust will be to begin work on the developed design stage. |
